Unplugged & zenned out
Annual Yoga & Nature Retreat in Algonquin Park, July 25-29
unplugged & zenned out
Our annual retreat has one simple intention: rest and reset. How? Through nature, adventure,
reflection, exploration, quiet, amazing food, and even better company.
Is nature calling to you this summer? Are you looking for a retreat that replenishes you from the inside out? Do you want to connect with other adventurous souls who are into healthy, sustainable living?
Or, are you feeling like you’re barely holding it together with a to do list a mile long? Are you looking for a time out for yourself? A chance to rest, restore, rediscover yourself?
Either way, join Zen Muskoka’s annual retreat in Algonquin Park and unplug. Not just for a minute or a lunch break but really, really UNPLUG. Rest. Slow down. Savour being surrounded by the sacred strength and serenity of the land of Algonquin Park. Take TIME. Time just for you. To fill yourself back up. To rejuvenate every part of you: mind, body, and spirit. Nourished: on all levels. Sounds pretty great, right? It is! Keep reading!
It takes time to de-stress. Time and quiet and feeding yourself. In this retreat, you will self-nourish with yoga, iRest Yoga Nidra, meditation, scrumptious food, breathing fresh air, connecting to nature, conversation, hiking, paddling, swimming and FEELING contentment and JOY! Isn’t it your time to give yourself the gifts of nature, relaxation, and that ‘zenned out’ feeling!
Retreat activities will include:
- yoga sessions (vinyasa and yin; accessible to all levels)
- meditation sessions (guided and supported)

Cooking at the Edge focuses on balancing globally far-flung tastes with provincially produced foods. While seasonal menus are inspired by flavours from afar, the Edge prepare meals with ingredients raised closer to home. Some food ingredients come from their garden, but most come from local gardens and Ontario farms, including a local organic meat provider. The opposite of “Fast Food,” to the Edge is S.L.O.W., which means Sustainable, Local, Organic and Wholesome. The Edge endeavours to provide a 100 mile diet while always doing their best to deliver food that will be remembered and treasured. The Edge provides colourful & delicious meals that satisfy the needs of our wide variety of guests, including those with dietary restrictions.
