Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Zen Muskoka website and the booking of wellness experiences provided by Zen Muskoka ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or booking an experience, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

Zen Muskoka provides private, on-location wellness experiences including yoga, mobility, breathwork, meditation, and related services in the Muskoka region of Ontario, Canada. All sessions are conducted by qualified, insured practitioners.

3. Booking & Payment

All bookings are subject to availability. Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable HST (Harmonized Sales Tax).

Group sizes, durations, and inclusions are as described on each service page. Additional participants beyond the stated capacity may incur supplemental fees.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

14+ days before your session: Full refund, less a $50 administrative fee.

7–13 days before your session: 50% refund or full credit toward a future booking within 12 months.

Less than 7 days before your session: No refund. You may transfer your booking to another date within 30 days, subject to availability, for a $75 rescheduling fee.

No-shows: No refund or credit will be issued for missed sessions.

In the event of severe weather that prevents the session from taking place safely, we will work with you to reschedule at no additional cost.

5. Health & Safety

Participation in yoga, breathwork, mobility work, and related wellness activities involves inherent risks. By booking a session, you acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and assume all risks associated with the activities.

You are responsible for informing your practitioner of any injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy, or physical limitations before the session begins. Our practitioners will offer modifications but are not medical professionals. Consult your physician before participating if you have any health concerns.

All participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian present during the session.

6. Location & Venue

Zen Muskoka provides on-location services at your specified venue (cottage, dock, property, etc.). You are responsible for ensuring the practice area is safe, clean, and accessible. We are not liable for injuries resulting from hazardous conditions at the venue that were not disclosed prior to the session.

7. Photography & Media

"Memory Moment" photography included in our packages is captured on your device. We do not retain copies of your photos. If Zen Muskoka captures any media during sessions for marketing purposes, we will request explicit written consent from all participants beforehand.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zen Muskoka shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of our services or this website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, design, and branding — is the property of Zen Muskoka and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without prior written permission.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
